The nascent Industrial 4.0 has begun to show that its impact will be 10x if not more than the Internet Revolution and with it a shift from empowering corporation to individuals. The focus will also probably shift to doing the right thing (adaptability) rather than doing things right (efficiency).


Correspondingly, the leadership style for the next industrial revolution must also see a tectonic shift back to the individual and the society at large. Leaders need to reinvent themselves.


However, the future of leadership development lies not in the future but in the past with great leaders such as Napoleon.
